Welcome to Motiv8tionally Speaking, a platform where I share my journey of overcoming mental challenges. In 2013, I was deployed to Afghanistan, and it was during this time that I started writing motivational notes to myself to combat anxiety. I want to help others find their motivation in the face of adversity. Through my speeches and workshops, I offer a unique perspective on finding inner strength and resilience. My personal experiences have allowed me to connect with individuals on a deeper level and provide practical advice and tools. If you’re looking for someone to help motivate you, speak about life, and be the best version of yourself, look no further than motivational speaking.

I've made some horrible mistakes. Some were life changing while others were uneventful. I've failed at every relationship, marriage, money and happiness all because I didn't understand one fundamental task...

Be who you will never regret consistently respecting and respect every one God created in his image.

I had to accept that I had failed at every attempt to give away what no one wanted. I live and thrive on the basics.

Love people, use things, learn from mistaken experiences, make no more excuses, live, thrive, and strive to get the most out of a day you have not earned.

Once I learned, applied and refused to compromise. I felt comfortable in my own skin and was safe in my on space and no one needed to validate where I had fallen short on their barometer.

These are the rules I live by:

1 Corinthians 13 New Living Translation (NLT)

Love Is the Greatest

If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t

love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I had

the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and

possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move

mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. 3 If I gave

everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast

about it;[a] but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud 5 or

rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no

record of being wronged. 6 It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices

whenever the truth wins out. 7 Love never gives up, never loses faith, is

always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Amen

A great friend once shared the thought that a good night’s sleep will make the ultimate difference in how you treat the next day God grants. Your feelings can display the worst emotions on your best days. These worst parts of the day don’t last long, but they can make you regret the role and priority those people and opportunities have brought to your life. It's not them it's you allowing them the power to ruin the day God gave you to enjoy.

There are no pep talks to get you through those moments they are there to antagonize the peace beyond your understanding. If it's in you forgive them, give it to God, let it go and move on. Easier said than done, but the key is getting to the place where the only thing that matters is how soon can you get to a space where there is peace, rest and a great night’s sleep. Where your mind will not be interrupted by your thoughts that agree with the moment that distracted you from completing the one task God asked. Love one another. It’s up to you to comply or question why.

The beauty of this lifetime is that you be will disappointed by how they have chosen to take your patience and kindness for granted. You know you’re equipped to handle the stress when all you want to do is go to sleep to check your attitude or recharge your forgiveness index. Remember God wolf you up in spite of all the thoughts you had that could kill a foes spirit, mind or body. Feelings don’t last as long as love should love.

Love will always prevail where attitude and arguments fail. God proves it every time he wakes you up regardless of you about others the moments before he allowed a great night’s sleep. You will never get through or over it as long as you worry about why God chose to bless you to get through it. Amen

Many think this was Steve Job’s last essay...

https://www.truthorfiction.com/steve-jobs-last-words-were-a-warning-about-the-pursuit-of-wealth/

I reached the pinnacle of success in the business world. In others’ eyes, my life is an epitome of success. However, aside from work, I have little joy. In the end, wealth is only a fact of life that I am accustomed to. At this moment, lying on the sick bed and recalling my whole life, I realize that all the recognition and wealth that I took so much pride in, have paled and become meaningless in the face of impending death. In the darkness, I look at the green lights from the life supporting machines and hear the humming mechanical sounds, I can feel the breath of god of death drawing closer… Now I know, when we have accumulated sufficient wealth to last our lifetime, we should pursue other matters that are unrelated to wealth… Should be something that is more important: Perhaps relationships, perhaps art, perhaps a dream from younger days Non-stop pursuing of wealth will only turn a person into a twisted being, just like me. —Unknown

Steve’s final words were: OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.

We live in awe of what life could be, what it should be. In the end it’s WOW. We realize what God intended and how off our expectations have been all along. Amen
