The Sharper Image: A tribute to Mr. Bailey

Young men, allow me to introduce you to a truly distinguished gentleman, whom I hold in the highest regard. Mr. Bailey, I address him with the utmost respect as "Sir." He's deserving of every "Yes Sir and No Sir" our communication nests. He has gracefully traversed all the 48 years of my existence on this Earth, and none among my peers could ever hope to fill his shoes. They nice check'm out. His generation encountered challenges that we often refer to as tough, but he didn't just endure them; he lived through them and has lived to share his wisdom with me.

Today's youth may find themselves grappling with mental health issues over matters as trivial as the fear of losing their cell phones, but this man I hold in reverence lived through epochs that tested the very fabric of our society. He witnessed the tumultuous Civil Rights Movement, endured the harrowing Drug Pandemic of the 80s and 90s, and emerged from these trials with a life of undeniable distinction.

It's important to understand that his distinction is not merely a reflection of the impeccable suit he may wear, but rather the indomitable spirit that guides him. It's the spirit that compels him to love and wholeheartedly submit to his faith in God, to diligently care for his family, and to smile, knowing that today's joys far outweigh the worries of yesterday.

Young men, take a moment to learn from this distinguished gentleman's life, for he embodies a legacy of resilience, faith, and unwavering love for family that should inspire us all. It's not honoring him because of his age but the type of business he stands on. He's standing on the faith that will never allow him to doubt how good God has been to him.
